"Seaweed -" is a fun and contemporary artwork exploring the kelp forests of the ocean.  The expressive use of shape, colour, and texture conveys a sense of movement, whilst the fine detail allows the viewer to really look deeply and imagine what life underwater is like.  The artist has used the negative space paper cut-outs to create the seaweed shapes, an unusual and effective technique that allows the background layers to show through.
Acrylic Paint, Hand-cut & Hand-painted collage paper, stitching & Pen detail on Arches 300gsm acid-free paper.
Float-mounted and framed with white timber & glazing.
